I went to render a project of mixed hdv mpg, mxf, and mov files 1920x1080 to HDV 720x480 NTSC Widescreen the other day and had my ram preview set to 4096.

Clicked the X to close Vegas Pro and it crashed on exit.Īdditional Information 2:Ēccbf8a2b378defbe49433ccb30c2f75Īdditional Information 4:Ē4076a71231aac64d5f130d0cef6549b Set various Video Track FX, including Chroma Keyer, messed around with the FX, Compositing, Reverse.ĩ. Installed Adobe Photoshop CS6, opened 3D object, painted, animated, rendered movie, imported in Vegas.Ĩ. Changed default project settings to 1080p, 24fps, no deinterlace, best.ħ. Installed Zoom R16 drivers, set Vegas to ASIO.Ĥ. Installed Sound Forge Pro 10, opened MP3 file.ģ. Click window X to close Video Track FXġ4. Copy AVC video to Videos folder (1080p 24fps)ĥ.

Install Sony Vegas Pro 11.0 (build 683) 64-bitġ. I'll try modifying Preferences, then installing other software, while testing to see if any step causes it to behave as it did on my previous install.ĥ. Let me know if anyone has anything they want me to test. I also tried replacing the AVC file with an AVCHD one, and going through the Video Track FX parameters, clicking various buttons and opening and closing the window, but still it's fine.

I loaded every Video Track FX plugin, sometimes with multiple copies in the chain, and still it's looping along, though slowly at 2 fps. Since it didn't, I've skipped logging steps, and have split the clip several times, loading up the Track FX, Event FX, changing the Event Pan/Crop, Compositing Mode, Playback Rate, Project Video Properties, Opacity, Snap Offset, Fade Type, Loop Points, Markers, Reverse, Mute, Solo. I expected it to crash when doing almost anything. But with this clean install, the initial test documented below showed no problems. Previously, version 11.0 crashed almost immediately, and frequently until running under Compatibility mode. I setup a clean install of Windows 7 and Vegas Pro 11 to document steps to reproduce crashes.
